Audio:I wanted to know how an audio file would perform and what program it would use to open it when it was uploaded to the server. The three links to the left lead to two .mp3 audio sample files and a single .wav audio sample file for now. |

Embedded Video:This example uses the Windows Media Player plug in to play the .wmv file and is embedded directly on to the page rather than using a hyperlink. For some reason this video example "Auto plays". |

Embedded Video:This example runs using the Quick time Player to play the .mp4 file and is embedded directly on to the page rather than using a hyperlink. |

Video Object:This example uses the Windows Media Player to play the .wmv file and is coded using parameters used by the player rather than using a hyperlink. This method stops the "Auto play" feature but has to load the file when play is selected. Only works in the Firefox 3.6 browser for some reason it does not work in IE8. |

Embedded Video:The video for this example is hosted on You tube and uses Flash Player to render the video. It is embedded to this page using the code supplied by the host site. This is a better method if you don't want to use up your own bandwidth quota as it is streamed from the host server. The downside is that there are limits to video size and length plus you have to accept the You Tube interface. |
