There's also an evil Darius Bydo clone of Vic Viper in the fan game G-type. it's the boss of the battleship stage, and uses tailgun if you are behind him, ripple laser if you are in front of him, and missles if you are below him.

the evil vic viper should be the first vic viper from g1 and was taken over by bacteria and you fight him who gets hit first dies.

I already came up with a evil Vic Viper in my head. It has a big blue core where the cockpit is and the doors will be in between the two things in front of the Vic Viper core.

Oh, in addition to the normal Vic Viper bydo in G-type, there's an alternate version in the "hole of death" version of the game that randomly appears. I don't remember all of the details, but like all other bosses it has a nice reddish-orange variation on things, and instead of ripple laser, it comes at you with orange Cyclone beams.

It wouldn't be really evil... but they should have made Vic Viper a fightable final boss in Gradius Neo Imperial.
... That ending made me sad. |

This is more likely than you guys might think.
A lot of Core ships have been trying to mimic Vic Viper. The first one was Berserk Core, with the two satellite laser turrets. The most recent (and most awesome) attempt by the Bacterians is Big Core DX-01, which fields up to six miniature Cores in Formation. The DX is the face you make while fighting it.
