Information
Great little bike, fast (at the time), had a white top box, fuel gauge, locking glove box, electric start as well as kick start which was not ever used as the electric start always worked..
This is the only bike I've ever crashed and was an insurance write off due to a bent frame.

I bought this back in 1991 from one of my instructors where I was doing my apprenticeship, it was an old bike with a very rusty exhaust, it was my first manual five speed bike which took a bit of time to get used to after riding an automatic.
This had a four stroke engine which seemed to start very slowly after using the kick start.

My first newish bike, it was only a year old and had very low mileage, this is also the bike I passed my CBT and main bike test on.
The CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) was completed at Leigh Technical Training College in Dartford, Kent and my test was done at the Belvedere test centre back in 1991.

After passing my test I just 'WANTED' a bigger bike, my friend Mike had this bike, he was riding it without having past his test which was not quite legal at the time so I bought it from him.
I sold my Yamaha DT125R to Aye Gee Motorcycles in Welling (the second hand shop branch near the railway bridge which is now closed down).
The bike was pretty slow and the handling was quite poor but it was very good at long distance riding. At work it was nick-named the Wet Dream by a few friends at work due to it being very slow and not very super.

This bike has the same engine as the CB250N Superdream I had previously, it was a good price and rode quite well, even more comfortable on long journeys.
I rode to Walton-on-the-naze for a holiday back in 1992 and stayed with my Mum and brother at the Martello Caravan site.
The battery plastic cover fell off on the A12 and was lost forever, the carburetor started leaking fuel onto the engine while I was in Walton I called the AA, they cleaned the jets as one had got block with grit and was not closing to stop the fuel flow when the engine was off (gravity fed), everything was fine after that.
Went back to Garrozo (Blackfen) complained and they swapped the bike for the Honda CB350SG for another £100 more than the Honda CM250.

This bike sounded like it had a gearbox problem when changing down so I panicked and sold it after just a month.
After I sold had sold this I bought my first car, an Mk2 Ford Escort 1975 P reg and did not own a bike for two further years.

Information
After a two year gap I bought this fast bike, it had a few problems with one of the power valves and also leaked engine coolant everywhere.
Lucky for me the shop gave me a refund, with that money I bought my third car (Metro VDP, C Reg) and didn't have a bike for quite a few years after that.

Bought as a non running bike with a seized engine.
The conrod little end bearing had seized so I had the crank rebuilt, new over sized pistons, honing etc... but the bike never ran again.
It sat in my garage for years until I finally scrapped it.

I could now afford a car and a bike at the time so I bought this wonderful machine, I wanted red one (my favourite colour) but after a few weeks of having it on order and not coming in they had a black one in stock so I got that one instead.

This bike was bought from a friend at work (Steph) who was emigrating to Australia and selling everything.
The bike only had 709 miles on the clock and was just over a year old.
I fitted an Evotech tail tidy to it so it was easier to fit in my garage (at the same time as my MINI Cooper S)
Decided to sell it after only one month due to the riding position putting too much weight on my wrists and the bike being quite small for me as I'm 6' 1".
Ben at work bought it after exactly one month with only 907 miles on it, he still has the bike now, has put almost four thousand miles on it now, at Xmas 2007 he fitted an official Suzuki rear colour coded seat cowl, the bike still look new, Ben has now sold the bike last year (2009) and currently has no bike.
