Unpacking and preparation
Before its fitted to the bike I waxed them with Autoglym Super Resin Polish and Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection, I have used these two products over the last few years, you get a very good finish which last for some time and its easier to do it now rather than bend down when its installed on the bike.
Fitting
Fit one bracket at a time so that the oil pan is not disturbed to much
Tools required
- 5mm Long Reach Allen Key
- 4mm Allen Key
- Torque Wrench
- Thread Lock (Loctite)
- Some clean cloths
Foot Brake Side
- Remove the cap head bolts using the 5mm Long Reach Allen Key
- Apply thread lock to the bolts and attach the bracket
- Using a torque wrench torque the bolts to 12Nm
Gear Change Side
- Remove the cap head bolts using the 5mm Long Reach Allen Key

- Using a torque wrench torque the bolts to 12Nm
Once the brackets are fitted you can fit the Sub Cowling with the 4mm Allen Key to a torque of 5Nm
