  This translation is fan made and has no connection to Konami in any way.

  IMPORTANT NOTE

  These files are for the earlier version of the game - GGG-J-A-A-2007092100 (21st September 2007)

  Don't forget to back up the original Data file directory before you start messing around and
  replacing original files or if there's a problem then there is n going back.

  See the changelog for all the details.

-Information----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  This is for the Arcade release of the game, I've found two known version of the game:-

  GGG-J-A-A-2007092100 (21st September 2007).
  This would be the release you would get from a fresh install of the original arcade game CD's.

  GGG-J-A-A-2008041801 (18th April 2008).
  The second release is an update download from Konami when your original machine is running and you
  are a paying e-amusement customer, this is also the version used in arcade mode on the Xbox 360.

  This translation patch is for the first release as that was the version I had when I started this
  project.

  I would like in the future to move to the later release as this has the new characters and weapons
  but with the way the game files are patched and the way the game was updated by Konami, pretty
  much all the files I've patched already will need to be redone, this is very time consuming.

  Now I just have to compare the files I already have translated and see if any of the files can be
  replaced easily.

  None of the patched files from GGG-J-A-A-2007092100 work with the GGG-J-A-A-2008041801 so I will
  have to reconvert all the files.

  The quest is the translate the game into English, all the menus and user interface.

  The speech will not be translated, this is difficult as you would need voice actors and it would
  sound rubbish anyway.

  Some of the text is not stored as images so this may not be translated unless I can fined where
  it's stored.


-How to play----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To play with the translated files, just overwrite the original pak files in the data directory and
run the game normally.

Tested and working in Windows 7 x64 (64 bit system).


-v0.5 - 12th September 2010-------------------------------------------------------------------------

  More custom graphics in the same style as the original images.

  Mission Complete, Results Notification and Play Again.

  Also changed the character names and menus in Records section.


-v0.4 - 11th September 2010-------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Quite a big change.

  Changed all the weapon text, all the character text and some of the user interface text.

  I've created some scripts to automate the building of the binary files so after the translations
  and artwork are complete, making the archive files is a lot quicker.


-v0.02 - 29th August 2010---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  A few text boxes have been changed here and there, the demo screens have some translation done.


-v0.01 - 21st August 2010---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Only the title image has been changed so far, it's quite intensive to edit and recode the images
  files.
