26th April 2008 The car has now done 18000 miles and the front tyres needed changing so I swapped the fronts with the back tyres and bought two new tyres for the back.

Not much else to say apart from the car is the best car I've ever owned, I usually get bored and buy a new one after a year but I've had this car for almost two years and still love it.

27th October 2007 Changed the layout of the site to make it the same as my bike section.

29th June 2007 Cancelled the stereo install, made a AUX-IN lead using plans from MINI2.

Changed the images on the site to use the excellent Highslide script.

29th April 2007 I have decided to install a new stereo and sat nav system. More soon.

Also here are some images I forgot to add of the Exhaust trim.

Exhaust

15th September 2006 I have the standard Cooper S Bumpers and a few other bits for sale on eBay at the moment.

Auctions finish next Tuesday 19th September 2006 18:26:34 BST - SOLD

Added a short JCW Strut Brace guide.

Exhaust trim and Bluetooth GPS receiver have been installed.

8th September 2006 Rear Bumper installed, much easier than the front bumper.

Split the Aero Kit Guide into it's various sections (Front Bumper, Rear Bumper etc...)

Only the Aero Sill Plates and Exhaust Trim to install now and I will be doing them tomorrow.

6th September 2006 Aero Side skirts, Front Bumper and Bonnet Grill are all fitted, some more images added to the Aero Kit Guide. Only the Aero Sill Plates, Rear Bumper and Exhaust Trim to go now.

2nd September 2006 I will be fitting my Aerodynamic Bodykit within the next few weeks and the one thing that bugged me was the PDF document on MotoringFile was very old, out of date and doesn't show a few extras and tweaks BMW have made along the way.

So I scanned the one that came with my Aero Kit and converted the scans into PDF files for everyone to use.

Both files are the same document but at different resolutions (some of the shading is blotchy on the Low Res one but the file size is quite a bit smaller). Also added the Sill Plates scans.

1st September 2006Picked up my new Cooper S today and its wonderful, added lots of images to the Cooper S section.

28th August 2006 Added a stealth install guide for my GlobalSat BT308 Bluetooth GPS, this was fitting to my last car (MINI Cooper) but was never documented and has been refined slightly.

27th August 2006 When I install my Aero Kit the standard MCS exhaust trim looks quite small with the deeper bumpers so looking online I found the US market has some different exhaust trim bits you cannot get in the UK, so I imported some Cooper S Exhaust Tips from Outmotoring.

Exhaust Before painting

Part No 82 12 0 410 150 - Don't bother looking over hear as the BMW UK parks system does not list this part.

The only thing I didn't like about them is the silver bits on the inside so I sprayed them (four thins coats) with black heat proof paint, this give the illusion of a bigger exhaust.

Don't forget to take your time when masking them before spraying as you don't want paint on the chrome bits.
