Graphic Arts Projects

I did some cool Gradius themed projects for my graphic arts class and just thought I'd show you guys.

The first one is a comic. I found a similar one on the net and figured I'd try and make a better one.

The second is a warning/caution sign featuring Big Core MK 1.

What do you think?

Haha, that comic made me hear "You need some practice!". Very well made. ^^

Also, do you have a bigger version of the Big Core sign? I'm totally going to put that to my room's door if you don't mind.

The comic is actually supposed to be animated, but I guess It's not supported on the forums or something...

As for the sign, I don't have a higher res pic, but I could redo it larger if you wanted?

Upload the comic to tinypic.com, it should keep it animated.

And no need to heh, I think this size will do.

If the image is an animated gif then the file would be probably over 100k file size limit of this forum and would be automatically changed to a jpg, that's why it's not animating.

What's the file size of the image?

heh, it's 951k. I think that's too big.

This wasn't technically a project, but I did it in class when I didn't feel like working. I did it in maybe an hour and a half or so... I don't know why, but I used only four shades of grey like the gameboy...

Looks like someone has been playing Nemesis GB, hahah. Quite awesome stuff, I have to say, your style looks really nice with Gradius stuff. ^^

I found a pretty cool Vic Viper design on deviantart (http://joefreakinrocks.deviantart.co...blem-152293299), but there were a LOT of inconsistencies. I thought I'd redo it and see if I could improve it. This is the result. What do you think? Who's is better?
