By joining the band club, you'll play Gradius medley in school festival. The medley consists of 'Beginning of the history' - 'Challenger 1985' - 'Free Flyer'. The Gradius name is actually mentioned in this event.

Join the computer club and do the club work hard to be 'The Club Master'. You'll end up developing a shooter named 'Force Gear' in your third year ,which you'll play and unlock as a playable minigame.

This minigame takes a lot of elements from Gradius. Vic Viper appears as your friendly ship (even though they get blasted soon after you start the game) and you have a Gradius shield which you use to block enemy attacks and shoot powerful Force Laser. The player ship, named 'Alpha-Gray', can also shoot ripple laser. Big Core and Covered Core appear as enemy in here and you'll also see one of Tetran's arms finishing off the boss.

All these features are only available in original PCE version, since this game's minigames and events are slightly different in other versions.
